Managing Director Manish Goyal, will lead GCC’s business and Managing Director Nikhil Shah, will direct its strategic growth and scaling. A&M’s GCC model accounts for the talent disruption propelled by COVID and is designed to meet ongoing market demand for scalable client teams as opposed to back-office functions.
Bryan Marsal, A&M’s Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, hailed the strategic initiative, “Our Global Capability Center accelerates our service delivery and advances our commitment to developing innovative solutions for complex problems. Under the guidance of Manish and Nikhil, we can harness a readily available pool of professionals, who can be deployed quickly across borders, functions and industries. Supporting clients with specialized task force teams, as needed, takes our network of boots-on-the- ground professionals and integrated platform to the next level for driving change.”
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Goyal spent more than 12 years with Bain & Company, where he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Bain Capability Network. While there, he was responsible for founding and scaling multiple global centers of excellence (GCoEs) across a range of industries, functional capabilities, next-gen technologies, and internal operations. Before that, Mr. Goyal served with the Monitor Group in India and Arthur D. Little in Dubai.
Luis de Lucio, Managing Director and head of Growth Markets, said, “Manish brings a critical understanding of managing GCC operations and talent. He has extensive experience building global centers of excellence. His expertise and approach align our Global Capability Center with A&M’s operational heritage.” Vikram Utamsingh, Managing Director and India Country Leader, added, “India has long been a leader of GCC initiatives. The firm’s integrated platform uniquely positions our GCC talent base to help clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals. The GCC talent at A&M will have opportunities to work alongside our clients within the global network.
Mr. Goyal, said, “A&M’s unique global platform is the cornerstone of our ability to dovetail the broad-based and varied talents across the firm with engagement teams and client needs. The new Global Capability Center concentrates our multi-domain mix of operating and management professionals, alongside our top-tier consulting and industry expertise, to drive change and add value.
